Jewelry is such an individual thing, we give
you a selection ranging from very artistic to very simple. The more
expensive pieces are certainly outstanding works, but so are they
all. Wear any of this Southwestern Native American Jewelry with
pride!
Three individual jewelers are featured on our pagesBen
Nighthorse Campbell, Cody Hunter and Clarence Lee.
We have selected the
Ben Nighthorse Collection
because of our taste for the best. The Senator's designs have won
many prizes and have been recognized by the finest galleries. We are
proud to be the Internet's exclusive dealer for his work. Besides
the "Collection" pages, we have the entire, 12-page
Ben Nighthorse Catalog,
including over 200 pieces of this premier, Native American Jeweler.
Clarence Lee has
also won many ribbons in the recognized shows. However, his sterling
silver jewelry is primarily in the area of storyteller bracelets,
pins and broaches. His whimsical illustration of everyday Navajo
life is truly a gift. Favorite pieces include Clarence's Billy Goat,
and his Navajo Family Pickup Truck. Russell, the son, is now an
active partner with his father.
Cody Hunter has been receiving
awards for his exquisite 14K overlay on sterling jewelry, including
awards at the Heard Museum Show and at the Santa Fe Indian Market.
Cody lives at the mouth of Canyon de Chelly, the Navajo monument on
the edge of Chinle, AZ. Cody is also a competitive rodeo horseman.
These experiences are incorporated into his jewelry, enriching them
with scenes depicting the Canyon monoliths, family hogans in the
Canyon, and horses running freely among the rocks.
We also feature a larger
group of Navajo, Hopi and Zuni jewelers, selected to give
you a wide spectrum of preferences and tastes. You'll find a range
of prices, including pieces of all silver, of silver and gold
combined, many set with turquoise and other semi-precious stones.
These are grouped into a separate area.
An important factorall
of our jewelry is hand made by Native Americans working in
the Southwest.
